For a bug report, include your device model, iOS version, app version and the exact calculation or steps. A screenshot can help. Please avoid including sensitive information.

Quick guide

  1. Enter the hours, tap :, then enter exactly two minute digits. Invalid minute digits are disabled. Use :00 to complete whole hours.
  2. Choose Duration for total elapsed time, or 24-hour for clock times with a day offset. Hours above 23 are allowed in both modes.
  3. Add or subtract times. Multiply or divide a duration by a number; the separator becomes a decimal point for that number.
  4. To correct an operator, tap another operator before entering the next number.

Calculator memory

M+ adds to memory, M− subtracts from it, MR recalls it and MC clears it. The value beside M shows the full stored duration, including hours above 24. AC clears only the current calculation.

Rounding and calculation order

Calculations run from left to right. Fractional minutes are rounded to the nearest whole minute and marked ≈. Half-minute ties round away from zero. Further calculations use the rounded value: 0:01 ÷ 2 gives ≈ 0:01.

Clock calculations

24-hour mode uses fixed 24-hour days. It does not calculate calendar dates, time zones or daylight saving changes. For example, 20:00 + 36:00 gives 08:00 with a +2 days offset.

This policy covers the Cloculator app and this support page. Cloculator is developed by Stefan Genszky.

Data in the app

Cloculator works offline. The app does not collect or transmit personal information, usage statistics or device identifiers. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs and does not require an account.

Calculations and memory

Calculations and calculator memory are held temporarily on your device during the current app session. They are not saved by the app between launches. Moving the app to the background does not necessarily end the session.

AC clears the current calculation. MC clears calculator memory. Both are cleared when the app process terminates. The developer receives no copy of these values.

Apple services

App Store purchases and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are handled through Apple's services under Apple's policies and your device settings.

This website

This page contains no analytics scripts, advertising or cookies added by the developer. It is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information about visits, including IP addresses, to operate and secure its hosting service. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Support emails

If you email the developer, your email address and the information you provide are used to respond to your request. Messages are handled through Gmail. Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle the request and any related follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion by emailing the address below.
